Mika KADOI (Managing Director / Counsellor)
MIKA speaks both English and Japanese and is highly qualified in Psychology. Psychological assistance can help individuals in the development of empathy, understanding, and better communication in the community. The development of these interpersonal skills is very important as they are called upon all the time in the dealings with other people. The diagnostic strategy of a psychological practitioner involves first understanding and assessing the psychological states of the patient before implementing a suitable therapy to alleviate the problems. MIKA also did various case studies on addictions for persons who suffer from Drug and Alcohol issues, and Domestic Violence. MIKA also did studies in Japan on the Welfare of Children. This has given her insight about the problems faced by those who are socially disadvantaged or have a physical disability. Mika is a qualified and experienced practitioner with an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. This includes being a full-time childcare educator in a nursery school for more than 7 years in Japan. Her practice in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, and Child Welfare involve the provision of professional care for parents and children. MIKA believes that specifically tailored early childhood programs are a very important key factor to a child’s early brain development in which will affect the rest of their lives.
